Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor with a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence to join a busy warehouse operation in Dartford.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can lead and support a warehouse team while also getting involved in daily operations and operating a counterbalance forklift. The position is initially for 3 months, with the potential to extend for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
*Supervising and supporting the warehouse team on a day-to-day basis.
*Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
*Coordinating picking, packing, goods-in and goods-out activities.
*Loading and unloading deliveries and moving stock around the warehouse.
*Ensuring orders are processed accurately and dispatched on time.
*Monitoring stock levels and maintaining accurate inventory records.
*Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
*Motivating team members and helping achieve daily operational targets.
*Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient warehouse environment.
The Ideal Candidate
*Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role.
*A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
*Bendi Forklift.
*Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse environment.
*Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
*Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
*A good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.
