Full job descriptionWe are currently looking for reliable and hardworking Class 2 Delivery Drivers to join a growing team.
The role involves delivering goods directly to customers’ homes, providing a friendly and professional service while ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time.
Key Responsibilities
*Safely operate a HGV vehicle in accordance with company and legal requirements.
*Deliver goods to customers’ homes across the local area.
*Load and unload deliveries safely, including some manual handling.
*Provide excellent customer service at every delivery.
*Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
*Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
*Work efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
*Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
Requirements
*Valid (Category C) driving licence.
*Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
*Good communication and customer service skills.
*Physically fit, as the role involves lifting and carrying.
*Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
*A professional and friendly attitude.
