The Company
A well-established and growing food manufacturing business is looking to recruit a Production Operative to join its operations team. The company supplies high-quality products to a range of customers and offers a supportive working environment with opportunities for development.
The Role
Working as part of the production team, you will be responsible for supporting the manufacture, packing and dispatch of products while ensuring quality, food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
*Operating within a fast-paced production environment
*Preparing, packing and labelling finished products
*Picking and preparing orders for dispatch
*Receiving and storing raw materials and stock
*Completing stock checks and inventory counts
*Maintaining accurate records where required
*Carrying out quality checks on products
*Ensuring work areas remain clean, organised and compliant with hygiene standards
*Following all health & safety and food safety procedures
*Supporting general production and warehouse activities as required
About You
*Previous experience within production, manufacturing, food production or warehouse environments is desirable
*Good attention to detail and quality standards
*Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
*Reliable, punctual and hard-working
*Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
*Good team player
*Comfortable carrying out manual handling duties
