Full job descriptionMeraki Talent is delighted to be supporting a well-established and growing manufacturing business in the appointment of a Management Accountant on a permanent basis paying up to £75k p.a.

Following continued growth and investment, the business is embarking on a significant systems and process improvement programme, creating an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused Management Accountant to join the finance team and make a tangible impact.


The Role
Reporting into Senior Management, this position offers a broad and varied remit with significant exposure to operational stakeholders across the business. A key focus of the role will be supporting the implementation of a new ERP system, taking ownership of the costing framework and helping develop robust processes that support commercial decision-making and operational performance.


Key Responsibilities:
*Lead the implementation and development of the costing module within a new ERP system
*Develop and maintain accurate product costing methodologies across the business
*Analyse production costs, margins and inventory performance to support decision-making
*Prepare monthly management accounts and associated financial reporting
*Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
*Provide meaningful analysis and business performance insights to senior management
*Partner with operational stakeholders across production, purchasing and supply chain functions
*Identify opportunities to improve financial controls, reporting and business processes
*Support capital expenditure appraisals and investment decisions
*Contribute to wider finance and continuous improvement projects

Candidate Profile
*Qualified ACCA, CIMA, ICAS
*Previous management accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
*Strong costing and cost accounting experience
*Experience developing or enhancing costing processes and methodologies
*Exposure to ERP systems and finance system implementations would be highly advantageous
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
*Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
*Ability to partner effectively with operational and non-finance teams
