The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity to join Staffline’s Governance team as a Data Security & Disclosure Coordinator. Working closely with our Data Security Officer and Health & Safety Manager, you’ll play a key role in coordinating Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and information requests from insurers, ensuring each case is managed efficiently, accurately, and within required timescales. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working with structured processes and confidential information. Previous experience within data protection, compliance, legal, insurance, HR, or governance environments is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
What you’ll do as a Data Security & Disclosure Coordinator
This role combines administration, compliance, and stakeholder coordination, offering plenty of variety while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy and information governance. Your responsibilities will include:
*Managing Governance mailboxes and coordinating incoming DSARs and insurer information requests
*Sending acknowledgements, updates, and correspondence using approved templates
*Maintaining accurate records, case trackers, and audit trails throughout the lifecycle of each request
*Monitoring deadlines and escalating risks to ensure statutory and internal timescales are met
*Liaising with departments across the business to obtain records, documents, and supporting information
*Preparing disclosure packs, applying redactions, and organising files for review and authorised release
*Supporting responses to data protection requests in line with UK GDPR and Data Protection Act requirements
*Assisting the Health & Safety Manager with insurer evidence requests and information gathering
*Ensuring sensitive and confidential information is handled securely at all times
*Supporting continuous improvement of Governance processes, templates, and guidance materials
The skills you’ll develop as a Data Security & Disclosure Coordinator
At Staffline, we’re committed to helping our people grow. In this role, you’ll gain valuable experience across data protection, information governance, compliance, stakeholder management, and disclosure processes. You’ll develop a strong understanding of information handling, audit management, and regulatory requirements while building skills that can support long-term career progression within Governance and Compliance.
What we need from you...
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with detail and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work. To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally bring:
*Excellent administrative and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
*Exceptional attention to detail and strong record-keeping capabilities
*Experience using Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*The ability to follow established processes while exercising sound judgement when escalation is required
*A professional and discreet approach when handling confidential and sensitive information
*The ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across different departments
*A calm and methodical approach, particularly when managing deadlines and competing demands
*Experience within administration, compliance, governance, legal, HR, insurance, or similar environments would be advantageous
*Previous exposure to DSARs, data protection, information disclosure, claims, or insurance-related processes would be beneficial, but is not essential
