The role offers some hybrid working, with some days remotely and some days at the Hastings office but will also involve regular site visits to the properties themselves in Margate.
The successful candidate will manage maintenance, inspections, tenancy matters and resident relationships, taking ownership of the portfolio while ensuring properties are maintained to a high standard. Applicants must live within approximately 30 minutes travel of Margate.

What you’ll be doing (Key Responsibilities) as a Property Manager:
*Managing the day-to-day operation of a residential portfolio across Margate and the surrounding areas
*Acting as the main point of contact for residents, handling enquiries and resolving issues professionally
*Carrying out regular site visits and property inspections to monitor standards and identify maintenance requirements
*Coordinating repairs and maintenance with contractors, ensuring work is completed promptly and effectively
*Overseeing tenancy matters, complaints, compliance requirements and accurate property records
*Liaising with landlords and internal teams, providing portfolio updates and identifying ways to improve the resident experience
What our client is looking for (Skills & Experience):
*A minimum of three years’ experience in residential property management
*Must live within approximately 30 minutes of Margate to accommodate frequent site visits
*A good understanding of residential property management legislation and compliance requirements
*ARLA Level 3 qualification desirable but not essential
*Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally
*Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
*Confidence working independently in a hybrid role while maintaining effective communication with the wider team
*A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for regular site visits, with build-to-rent or large portfolio experience advantageous
