Full job descriptionPower BI Analyst – Contract – Hybrid – Cambridgeshire
VIQU are supporting a leading manufacturing company in recruiting a Power BI Analyst on a contract basis.
The successful candidate will work with large datasets within a Microsoft Fabric environment, transforming data into meaningful insights that support decision-making across Sales, Commercial, Operations, Finance and Supply Chain teams. This is a stakeholder-focused role, requiring strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to turn business requirements into impactful reporting solutions.
Power BI Analyst Role Responsibilities
*Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports.
*Analyse data from Microsoft Fabric, SAP, Excel and other business systems.
*Use SQL to extract, manipulate and interrogate data.
*Gather requirements and work closely with stakeholders across the business.
*Deliver insights into sales performance, customer profitability and operational performance.
*Ensure reporting is accurate, reliable and aligned with business objectives.
*Translate complex data into clear recommendations and actionable insights.
Power BI Analyst Key Skills & Experience Required
*Strong Power BI reporting and dashboard development experience.
*Good SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
*Exposure to Microsoft Fabric and modern data platforms.
*Strong analytical and numerical skills with a natural curiosity for solving business problems.
*Experience gathering requirements and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
*Excellent communication skills and the ability to present insights to non-technical audiences.
*Experience supporting commercial, sales or operational reporting functions is advantageous.

*Role: Power BI Analyst
*Duration: 3 months
*IR35: Inside
*Rate: £250 - £300 per day
*Location: Hybrid / Cambridgeshire
