Role Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role
We are seeking an organised, proactive Logistics Administrator to support the day-to-day processing and movement of customer orders. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring orders are recorded accurately, shipments are scheduled efficiently, and deliveries arrive on time.
You will act as a central point of contact between our warehouse team, external couriers, and internal colleagues. If you are a natural communicator who enjoys problem-solving, keeping processes moving, and maintaining high attention to detail, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
*Order Processing: Accurately input, update, and manage customer order records through our internal systems.
*Courier & Freight Liaison: Coordinate directly with couriers and logistics partners to arrange timely collections and deliveries.
*Warehouse Collaboration: Work closely with the warehouse team to track order progress and resolve any dispatch roadblocks.
*Tracking & Problem Resolution: Proactively monitor active shipments, investigate delays or missing documentation, and follow up until resolved.
*Record Keeping: Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation covering shipments, delivery statuses, and logistics metrics.
*Internal Communication: Keep sales, operations, and customer service colleagues informed with the details needed to process and dispatch orders smoothly.
*Customer & Courier Enquiries: Professionally respond to day-to-day delivery and tracking queries via phone and email.
*Team Support: Provide general administrative assistance to the wider team as required.
What We Are Looking For
*Experience: Background in an administrative, order processing, or logistics/dispatch role.
*Communication Skills: Confident liaising across multiple channels (phone, email, face-to-face) with colleagues, drivers, and external partners.
*Organisation: Strong multitasking abilities with the capacity to prioritise workloads and track outstanding tasks effectively.
*Accuracy: High attention to detail and pride in accurate data entry and record maintenance.
*IT Literacy: Comfortable using standard workplace software, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and order/inventory databases.
*Mindset: A practical, hands-on team player who isn’t afraid to ask questions, challenge discrepancies, and take ownership of tasks from start to finish.
Personal Qualities
*Reliable & Accountable: Takes responsibility for following through on tasks and deadlines.
*Inquisitive & Proactive: Speaks up when something does not look right and persists until questions are answered.
*Adaptable: Maintains a calm, organised approach when priorities shift during busy dispatch windows.
*Collaborative: Approachable, positive, and works effectively within a tight-knit team environment.
