Night Shift


We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator to join a precision engineering and manufacturing environment supplying high-quality components to demanding industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manufacture and fabricate sheet metal components from complex engineering drawings.
*Set up and operate machinery including brake presses, rubber presses, guillotines and band saws.
*Measure, mark out and inspect parts to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
*Carry out general sheet metal duties including deburring, drilling, forming and calculating bend allowances.
*Work primarily with aluminium, with occasional mild steel and stainless steel.
*Perform shaping and forming processes including stretch forming, shrinking and flattening materials.
*Maintain strict adherence to quality, health & safety and manufacturing procedures.
Requirements:
*Previous experience within precision engineering, aerospace, automotive or a similar manufacturing environment.
*Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings independently.
*Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques and sheet metal manufacturing processes.
*Experience using a range of hand tools and fabrication machinery.
*Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
*Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
*Ability to work effectively within a team while managing your own workload.
