The role of the Quantity Surveyor - Brickwork will involve:
*Quantity Surveyor position managing costs related to various brickwork projects for main-contractors
*Price the cost of materials needed for the project
*Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, BOQs and other relevant documentation
*Track changes to the works and adjust budget projections accordingly
*Measure and value the work done on site
*Liaise with the client and other internal/external stake holders, such as Site managers & Project Manager
*Working on projects varying in value up to £2.5m
The ideal applicant will be an Quantity Surveyor - Brickwork industry with:
*Must have Quantity Surveying experience
*Ideally will have Surveying degree or equivalent, however experience outweighs qualifications
*Ability to produce take-offs as required
*Knowledge of construction procurement, specifications and sub-contractor management
*Highly organised with good attention to detail
*Excellent communicator across all levels both written and verbally
*Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
*Ability to work in a fast paced environment
