Our client in Hale is looking for an organised, proactive Legal Cashier to help keep the firm’s finances running smoothly. If you enjoy getting the detail right and keeping everything on track, this could be your next move.
Your day-to-day
You’ll play a key part in the finance team, with responsibilities including:
*Processing purchase ledger transactions, payments and receipts.
*Reconciling client and office accounts and supporting bank reconciliations.
*Keeping financial records and ledgers accurate and up to date.
*Preparing invoices and helping monitor cash flow.
*Managing petty cash and employee expenses.
*Following financial procedures and supporting compliance.
*Assisting external accountants and auditors when needed.
What you’ll bring
You’ll have experience as a Legal Cashier or in a UK legal finance role, with a sound understanding of accounting processes and reconciliations.
We’re also looking for:
*A sharp eye for detail and a methodical approach.
*The ability to prioritise a busy workload.
*Clear communication skills and a friendly, professional manner.
*Confidence working independently and alongside colleagues.
Experience with ALB software would be a real plus. Knowledge of the SRA Accounts Rules would also be helpful, although training can be provided. Finance or accountancy qualifications are welcome, but aren’t essential.
