Location Brentwood – Essex
Purple Communications are looking for an experienced Project Telecoms Engineer to join our team at our Brentwood office. This is an in house and on the road role. The primary role of a Project Engineer is to manage and complete the deployment of new 8x8 and 3CX systems along with upgrades for clients, inclusive of managing the onsite installation – at times completing helpdesk enquires.

What will you do?
· Manage and complete new installations and assist the Helpdesk as and when required.
*Deliver a high standard of support to customers
*Mange the new installations from point of order to completion
*Ordering of new systems, SIP, Internet Services
*Configuration of Routers - Draytek (training provided if needed)
*Work as part of a team to achieve SLA’s on initial and fix response
*Quick and accurate assessment of a technical issues with a view to escalate if required
*Completion of tasks or activities with attention to detail
what are we looking for?
*Experience in working in the telecommunications industry
*Excellent Verbal and written communication skills to clients of varying technical abilities in technological areas such as: VoIP, SIP, Contact Centre –Multimedia and Call recording.
*Established knowledge on Cloud systems/telephony
*Established knowledge of networking concepts
*Awareness of compute technologies/infrastructure
*Awareness of virtualisation technologies
*Time spent on a technical desk would be advantageous
*Experience in 8x8 and 3CX Solutions would be advantageous, full training given
*Structured cabling experience (cat5, cat6, cat6a and cat7) an advantage but not essential
Job Type: Full-time.
Salary : 35k – 40k subject to experience, plus Vehicle or Car allowance and Pension
