Liverpool City Council is seeking an experienced Procurement Business Partner to join its growing procurement team. This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional to play a key role in delivering strategic procurement activity, driving value for money, and supporting services across the organisation.


Key Responsibilities
*Lead end to- end procurement and sourcing activities across a range of spend categories
*Develop and implement procurement and category strategies aligned to organisational priorities
*Provide commercial and procurement advice to stakeholders across the Council
*Build and maintain strong relationships with internal clients and external suppliers
*Identify and deliver efficiency savings, cost reductions, and service improvements
*Ensure procurement activities comply with relevant legislation, regulations, and Council policies
*Support contract management and supplier performance initiatives
About You
*MCIPS qualified, working towards qualification, or able to demonstrate equivalent procurement experience
*Strong knowledge of public sector procurement regulations and best practice
*Proven experience managing procurement projects and delivering commercial outcomes
*Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
*Ability to work collaboratively, influence decision-making, and drive continuous improvement
