Full job descriptionPertemps is supporting Royal Mail with warehouse recruitment at the Yorkshire Parcel hub (Normanton, WF6). We’re currently looking for reliable Mail & Parcel Sorters who are available to work Earlies and Night shifts.

This is a temporary, hands-on role within a busy parcel operation, with additional shifts potentially available during busier periods.

What You’ll Be Doing

*Sorting and scanning mail and parcels
*Loading and unloading mail, parcels and pallets
*Moving mail around the warehouse
*Preparing mail and containers for despatch
*Keeping your work area safe and organised
What We’re Looking For

No previous experience is needed as training is provided. You’ll need to:

*Be available to work earlies, lates and night shifts
*Be reliable, punctual and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
*Be happy standing and walking for long periods
*Be able to handle mail bags up to 11kg and parcels up to 30kg
*Be comfortable switching between different warehouse tasks


Pay Rates & Shift patterns are typically

Early shifts 0600 – 1400 - £13.69 per hour

Night shifts 2200 – 0600 - £16.44 per hour
