Are you the kind of HR professional who thrives when others shy away from complexity?
We’re supporting a well-established manufacturing business in Hucknall that is undergoing significant organisational change and transformation. As a result, we’re looking for an experienced Senior HR Advisor who can hit the ground running, build credibility quickly and provide confident, hands-on HR support from day one.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys being at the heart of the action. You’ll work closely with managers and employees, supporting a wide range of employee relations matters, organisational change initiatives and day-to-day HR operations within a busy operational environment.

The Role

This is a broad generalist position where no two days are the same.
* Managing complex employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance matters
* Supporting organisational change, consultations and changes to working practices
* Advising and coaching managers through challenging people situations
* Supporting the full employee lifecycle from onboarding through to exit
* Preparing employment documentation and maintaining accurate HR records
* Working closely with operational leaders to provide practical, commercially focused HR support
* Balancing strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to HR delivery


What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a resilient HR professional who can confidently navigate a business going through substantial change.
* Strong HR generalist experience within a Senior HR Advisor, HR Advisor, HR Manager or HR Business Partner level role
* Significant employee relations experience
* Ex perience supporting consultation processes, organisational change or workforce restructuring
* Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
* The confidence to challenge, influence and support managers at all levels
* Experience within manufacturing, production, engineering, logistics or another operational environment
* The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
* A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
* A genuinely thick skin and the resilience to operate effectively in a changing environment where not everyone will embrace new ways of working immediately
