The OpportunityWe are seeking a commercially minded Graduate Business Finance Advisor to join our growing financial consultancy team, supporting UK businesses with their funding requirements and commercial decision-making.

You will work alongside experienced finance professionals, supporting commercial clients, company directors and business owners with their financing requirements.

Previous experience is not essential, although strong analytical skills, commercial awareness and a willingness to learn are important.
What You’ll Be DoingAs a Graduate Business Finance Advisor, you will support client enquiries, financial assessments and commercial finance applications under appropriate supervision.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Communicating with business owners, directors and commercial clients.
*Understanding business models, financial circumstances and commercial objectives.
*Identifying clients’ funding requirements and gathering relevant information.
*Reviewing financial statements, management accounts and cash-flow information.
*Supporting senior colleagues in assessing business performance and funding options.
*Providing general information about commercial finance products and application processes.
*Supporting businesses seeking finance for expansion, equipment, working capital and acquisitions.
*Researching commercial loans, asset finance, invoice finance and other funding solutions.
*Preparing client summaries, financial reports and preliminary finance proposals.
*Liaising with lenders, finance providers and internal departments.
*Gathering documentation required for commercial finance applications.
*Comparing commercial finance terms and preparing information for client discussions.
*Monitoring application progress and maintaining accurate client records.
*Following compliance, confidentiality and data-protection procedures.
*Building professional relationships with business clients.
*Keeping informed about developments within the UK commercial finance market.
As your experience develops, you will gradually take on greater responsibility for client enquiries, financial assessments and commercial finance cases.

*Level 4 CPD certification for financial advisers.

*Interest in building a long-term career within financial services.
Previous experience through internships, university placements, banking, accountancy or financial services would be advantageous but is not essential.
