Full job descriptionCNC OperativeWe’re looking for an experienced CNC Operative to join a precision engineering team. You’ll be responsible for setting up, operating and monitoring CNC machinery to produce high-quality components to engineering drawings and production targets.

Key Responsibilities*Read and interpret engineering drawings
*Set up, operate and monitor CNC machines
*Change tooling, fixtures and load materials
*Carry out first-off and in-process inspections
*Use measuring equipment including micrometers and calipers
*Complete production records and job documentation
*Report quality issues and support continuous improvement
*Follow all health & safety and quality procedures
Essential Requirements*Ability to read engineering drawings
*Minimum 2 years’ machining experience
*CNC operating and basic setup experience
*Competent using measuring tools
*Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Desirable*CNC or conversational programming experience
*Knowledge of tooling, feeds and speeds
*Understanding of ISO quality standards
