Your Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant*Support pupils individually (1:1) or in small focus groups to boost literacy, numeracy, and phonics confidence.

*Assist children with additional learning needs or SEN, adapting tasks to keep them engaged and included.

*Work collaboratively with class teachers to prepare learning materials, set up activities, and maintain an organized classroom.

*Act as a positive role model, fostering children’s emotional well-being, resilience, and independence.

*Supervise break times, dining halls, and group transitions, ensuring a safe and supportive school environment.

*Provide useful feedback to teachers on individual pupil milestones and daily progress.

Essential Requirements*Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or substantial primary classroom experience).

*Proven track record supporting primary-aged children.

*Confident classroom management skills and familiarity with positive behavior strategies.

*A proactive, caring, and dependable attitude.

*An Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (or readiness to obtain one with our support).
