Your Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant*Guide pupils 1:1 or in small focus groups to accelerate reading, writing, and maths progress.

*Support students with additional educational needs (SEN) to promote full classroom inclusion.

*Assist class teachers with lesson resource preparation, display work, and classroom setup.

*Foster a positive, encouraging environment that builds pupils’ confidence and independence.

*Supervise group activities, break times, and school trips ensuring child safety at all times.

*Share constructive feedback with teachers regarding pupil engagement and milestone achievements.

Essential Requirements*Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or substantial primary school experience).

*Proven experience supporting primary-aged pupils.

*Strong communication skills and confident, positive behaviour management.

*An enthusiastic, adaptable, and proactive approach in the classroom.

*An Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to process one with us).
