Zest Education is looking for a confident, enthusiastic, and reliable Full-Time Cover Supervisor to work across secondary schools in the Staffordshire area, starting in January 2027.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people, has a positive attitude and wants to gain valuable experience in a secondary school environment.
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play an important role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment when teachers are absent. You will deliver pre-prepared lesson materials, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure students remain engaged in their learning.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Supervising classes of secondary school students across a range of subjects.
*Delivering pre-set work and ensuring students stay on task.
*Managing classroom behaviour in line with each school’s policies.
*Creating a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment.
*Supporting students with their work and encouraging participation.
*Liaising with teaching staff and school leaders where necessary.
*Adapting to different school environments and building positive relationships with students and staff.
