Experienced Painters & Decorators Wanted for Nursery Refurbishment Project
We’re currently looking for 2 experienced Painters & Decorators (with the possibility of taking on a third) to join a refurbishment project in Glasgow starting 2nd November.
Working on a complete nursery refurbishment, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality decoration works as part of a wider renovation programme. There is an initial 4-week contract available, with further work expected through to mid-December for the right candidates.
The Role
You will be carrying out all aspects of painting and decorating including:
*Surface preparation
*Sanding, filling and making good
*Repairing damaged wall areas
*Internal painting and decorating
*Finishing works to a high standard
*Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
*Working within an active refurbishment project
Requirements
Painting & Decorating Level 2 Diploma (or equivalent)
Blue CSCS Card preferred
Green CSCS Card considered
Previous refurbishment experience
Experience working within schools, nurseries, healthcare or similar environments desirable
Valid DBS or PVG Certificate (or ability to obtain one)
Own PPE
Strong attention to detail and quality finish
Payment Options
*Blue CSCS Card Holders: CIS payment available
*Green CSCS Card Holders: PAYE or Umbrella PAYE only
