About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Qualified Electrician to join a growing property improvements and refurbishment team.
This role is focused primarily on kitchen and bathroom installation projects within residential properties, working across planned programmes of work rather than reactive maintenance.
You’ll be responsible for carrying out electrical installations, testing and certification, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard and in full compliance with current regulations. Key Responsibilities*Carry out electrical installations as part of kitchen and bathroom refurbishment projects.
*Complete first and second fix electrical works.
*Undertake electrical testing, inspection, certification and reporting.
*Carry out fault finding and diagnostic work where required.
*Install and maintain surface-mounted containment and trunking systems.
*Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and wiring diagrams.
*Ensure all work complies with current BS7671 Wiring Regulations.
*Complete all required certification and documentation accurately.
*Liaise professionally with residents, site teams and management.
*Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations and company procedures.
*Complete risk assessments and maintain safe working practices at all times.
Essential Requirements*NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
*18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
*City & Guilds Electrical Installation qualification or equivalent.
*Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent).
*Experience carrying out domestic electrical installations.
*Experience within kitchen and bathroom refurbishment projects.
*Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
*Full UK Driving Licence.
*Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Desirable Experience*Social housing or planned works experience.
*Kitchen and bathroom installation programmes.
*Adaptation or refurbishment projects.
*Experience working within occupied residential properties.
