Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (Overtime Available)
About the RoleWe are recruiting for an experienced Multi Trader to join a growing property maintenance and adaptations team carrying out maintenance, repair and small works projects across residential properties throughout London and the Home Counties.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who enjoys varied work, takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, and can work independently while providing excellent customer service.
You will be responsible for completing a wide range of minor repairs and installations within occupied residential properties, helping to improve homes and support residents’ day-to-day living.
Key Responsibilities*Carry out general maintenance and small works repairs in residential properties.
*Install and replace sanitaryware, including basins, taps and showers.
*Complete minor plumbing, carpentry and basic tiling works.
*Hang, adjust and repair internal doors.
*Install handrails, grab rails and other accessibility products.
*Lift and prepare flooring and undertake minor subfloor repairs.
*Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
*Manage your own workload and work independently across multiple locations.
*Complete job sheets and reports accurately.
*Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional approach at all times.
*Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
About YouThe successful candidate will be practical, self-motivated and experienced in carrying out a variety of property maintenance tasks.
Essential Requirements*Previous experience as a Multi Trader, Maintenance Operative or Property Repairs Technician.
*Experience in basic plumbing, carpentry and general building maintenance.
*Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
*Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to first-time fixes.
*Good communication and reporting skills.
*Full UK Driving Licence.
*Own basic hand tools.
Desirable Experience*Social housing maintenance.
*Property adaptations or accessibility works.
*Responsive repairs and planned maintenance.
*Working within occupied residential properties.
