Full job descriptionThis is an exciting opportunity to support the development of an in-house translation service, helping to bring previously outsourced translation work into the business.
The role will focus on translating a backlog of documents, as well as legal contracts and other business-critical materials. You will play an important part in ensuring that translations are not only accurate but also reflect the cultural nuances and context of the relevant languages.

Key Responsibilities
*Translate a range of documents, including product-related materials, legal contracts and other business documentation.
*Ensure translations are accurate, clear and appropriate for the intended audience.
*Demonstrate a strong understanding of cultural differences and linguistic nuances, ensuring these are reflected naturally in translated content.
*Maintain consistency in terminology, tone and style across all documents.
*Work through an existing backlog of documents efficiently, typically taking around three hours to translate each document.
*Provide input into the trial of translation memory tools, sharing experience of tools previously used and recommending suitable solutions where appropriate.

Applicants should have proven experience in translation, ideally within a corporate, commercial or professional services environment. In addition, an excellent written language skills and a strong command of the relevant source and target languages.
