*Constantly seek opportunities to improve the control environment by maintaining best practice standards and proactively identifying enhancements to processes.
*Ensure full compliance with product control policies as well as broader organisational policy standards in all activities undertaken within the department.

*Lead a team comprising two senior reportees in London supported by six offshore colleagues, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across locations.

What you bring:

*Relevant experience in product control with deep understanding of equity products gained from working within financial services or investment banking environments.
*Proven track record in senior stakeholder management including engagement with trading heads, regulatory bodies, CFOs or other executive leaders.
*Demonstrated ability in effective people management-developing talent within multi-location teams while optimising resources for maximum impact.
*Exceptional communication skills enabling you to collaborate seamlessly across regions and departments while presenting complex information clearly.
*Meticulous attention to detail combined with analytical capability allowing you to deep dive into performance metrics and financial resource calculations.
*Experience improving controls or processes within finance functions-adding value for clients or stakeholders through thoughtful enhancements.
*Qualified accountant status (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) providing strong technical foundation for product control responsibilities.
*Ability to manage urgent matters alongside medium-term project work-balancing competing priorities efficiently without compromising quality.
*Commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace culture that respects diversity and psychological safety while cultivating risk awareness among team members.
