Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm
Contract: Full-time

We are currently recruiting for an experienced School Caretaker to join a busy secondary school in Sittingbourne.
This is a great opportunity for a reliable, hands-on individual to support the day-to-day running of the school site, helping to ensure the buildings and grounds remain safe, secure and well maintained.
Key Responsibilities*Opening and securing the school site

*Carrying out daily site inspections and security checks

*Completing general maintenance and minor repairs

*Keeping the site safe, clean and presentable

*Setting up rooms and areas for school activities and events

*Liaising with contractors and reporting maintenance issues

*Supporting with general premises and facilities duties

The Ideal Candidate*Previous experience in caretaking, premises or facilities management

*Good practical skills and general maintenance knowledge

*A reliable, proactive and hands-on approach

*A good understanding of health and safety

*The ability to work independently and as part of a team

*Previous school-based experience would be an advantage

*A valid DBS or willingness to complete the DBS process before starting
