The organisation operates in the professional services industry.
Description
*Process supplier invoices accurately and ensure records are kept up to date.
*Check invoices against supporting documents to maintain accurate payment information.
*Maintain accounts payable records so financial information is easy to review.
*Respond to supplier payment queries in a timely and professional manner.
*Prepare payment information for review and processing.
*Reconcile supplier statements and investigate differences where needed.
*File invoices and supporting documents in line with established procedures.
*Work with the wider Accounting & Finance team to keep accounts payable activity running smoothly.
Profile
A successful ’Accounts Payable Clerk’ should have:
*Experience processing supplier invoices and maintaining accurate records.
*Confidence checking invoice details against supporting documentation.
*Ability to reconcile supplier statements and resolve payment queries.
*Good attention to detail when handling financial information.
*Ability to manage routine tasks accurately within a temporary assignment.
*Clear communication skills when dealing with suppliers and colleagues.
Job Offer
*Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk contract.
*Hourly pay of £14 to £17, dependent on the level of experience.
*Location: Nottingham, but mainly home based. Applications from candidates not commutable to Nottingham will not be accepted.
