Position: Permanent, full-time, Monday-Friday
Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum DOE + excellent benefits
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety Manager with strong civils experience and a passion for education to join a leading design-and-build contractor with headquarters in Germany.
You’ll play a central role in promoting a strong safety culture across multiple construction sites, ensuring compliance, supporting project teams and helping to maintain the highest health and safety standards.

As the Health & Safety Manager, you will:
*Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits across construction projects
*Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, policies and industry standards
*Review site documentation, RAMS and safety procedures
*Deliver toolbox talks and support site teams with practical health and safety guidance
*Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, identifying improvement measures
*Support the implementation of health, safety and environmental initiatives across the business

Who we’re looking for:
*Previous experience within a Health & Safety role in the construction industry
*At least 3 years’ relevant construction experience
*Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations, LOLER, PUWER, ISO 45001 and the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
*Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
*A proactive, practical and solutions-focused approach
*Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
*Full UK driving licence preferred
*A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
