Full job descriptionInterim Head of Marketing & Communications - Lancashire / Hybrid (3-6 Month Contract) - £80k-£90k FTE
Join a leading B2B technical and infrastructure services group for an interim period. You’ll get to lead an established marketing team, keep vital projects on track, and support senior stakeholders during a transitional phase.
Role:
*Provide steady, hands-on leadership to the marketing team, ensuring day-to-day campaigns, content schedules, and deliverables stay firmly on track.
*Act as a trusted mentor and sounding board for junior marketing staff, helping them develop their skills and execute daily output.
*Manage web development projects, digital updates, content governance, and core organic channels.
*Partner closely with senior stakeholders, sales teams, and operational leaders to manage expectations and align marketing support with ongoing business priorities.
*Oversee current marketing operations, digital strategy, email communications, and external agency relationships without needing to reinvent long-term strategy from scratch.
About you:
*Solid senior-level marketing experience, ideally within technical services, engineering, B2B services, or complex multi-site sectors.
*Proven track record managing marketing teams, keeping production on schedule, and coaching junior staff.
*Strong hands-on background across core digital marketing, organic channels, and managing website development projects.
*Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly with senior leaders and operational teams.
*Adaptable, execution-focused, and comfortable stepping into an interim, operational leadership role to keep momentum high.
