You will coach, upskill, and directly elevate standards across an established wealth management business.


Where you fit in
This Paraplanning Excellence Trainer role exists to bridge high-level technical compliance and daily operational delivery. Working as part of the operational excellence team, you will ensure both newly acquired practices and existing staff master end-to-end workflows. You will design, deliver, and embed structured learning that equips colleagues to produce robust advice documentation and achieve exceptional client outcomes.


How you’d spend your time
- Design engaging learning materials, workflows, and toolkits for paraplanners using modern digital tools.
- Deliver structured training sessions virtually, in the classroom, and occasionally on site during integration.
- Coach colleagues on suitability report writing, technical research standards, and core business systems.
- Monitor new starter progress post-induction to identify learning gaps and provide targeted mentoring.
- Partner with compliance and operational leaders to align materials with Consumer Duty standards.


Paraplanning Excellence Trainer Requirements
- Practical paraplanning, financial planning operations, or financial services experience (essential).
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or an equivalent qualification (essenntial).
- Proven track record delivering engaging training, coaching, or mentoring face to face and virtually (essential).
- Sound technical knowledge of the advice process, FCA expectations, and file quality standards (essential).
- Experience designing digital learning assets using tools such as Articulate 360, Vyond, or Canva (desirable).
