Food Technology Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)
Location: Village setting, Cambridgeshire

Salary: £32,916 - £51,048 per annum (FTE)
REED Education is proud to be working in partnership with an Ofsted-rated ’Good’ secondary school in a welcoming Cambridgeshire village. We are supporting the school in recruiting a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis from January.

The Role
As a Food Technology Teacher, you will:
*Deliver engaging and inspiring Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
*Plan, prepare and assess student work to support progress and attainment
*Teach students about nutrition, food science, food preparation and healthy lifestyles
*Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
*Support students in developing practical cooking skills and confidence in the kitchen
*Ensure safe working practices are followed within food preparation areas
*Contribute to the wider life of the school and Food Technology department
The Ideal Candidate
The school would ideally like to appoint a teacher who holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). However, they are also keen to hear from candidates who may not hold QTS but have significant UK secondary Food Technology teaching experience and a strong track record of delivering high-quality lessons and positive student outcomes.
You will have:
*Experience teaching Food Technology within UK secondary schools
*Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
*A passion for food, nutrition and education
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*The ability to motivate, challenge and inspire students of all abilities
