Computer Science Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)
Location: Village setting, Cambridgeshire

Salary: £32,916 - £51,048 per annum (FTE)

The Role
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will:
*Deliver engaging and inspiring Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
*Plan, prepare and assess student work to support progress and attainment
*Teach key areas including programming, computational thinking, algorithms and digital literacy
*Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
*Encourage students to develop confidence and interest in technology and computing
*Contribute to the wider life of the school and Computer Science department
The Ideal Candidate
The school would ideally like to appoint a teacher who holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). However, they are also keen to hear from candidates who may not hold QTS but have significant UK secondary Computer Science teaching experience and a strong track record of delivering high-quality lessons and positive student outcomes.
You will have:
*Experience teaching Computer Science within UK secondary schools
*Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
*A passion for computing, technology and education
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*The ability to motivate, challenge and inspire students of all abilities
