An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Corporate Solicitor (5+ PQE) to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Stockport. This role offers the chance to work on a broad range of high-quality corporate matters while enjoying genuine autonomy, strong career progression opportunities, and flexible hybrid working.
You’ll join a collaborative and ambitious team, advising a diverse client base on complex corporate transactions and strategic business matters.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
*Leading on a variety of corporate transactions, including M&A (buy-side and sell-side)
*Advising on private equity and investment transactions
*Drafting and negotiating shareholder agreements
*Managing group restructures and corporate governance matters
*Building and maintaining long-term client relationships
*Running matters independently from instruction through to completion
*Contributing to the firm’s business development and networking activities
*Achieving billing targets while maintaining exceptional client service
About You
We’re keen to speak with solicitors who have:
*A minimum of 5 years’ PQE in Corporate Law
*Strong technical expertise across M&A and general corporate matters
*Experience managing transactions with minimal supervision
*Commercial awareness and excellent client-facing skills
*A proactive approach to business development
*The ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships
