Are you looking for a stable, secure job at a well-established global manufacturing business where you can gain valuable training, progress a long-term career and receive an excellent benefits package?
This FMCG business is ranked as one of the largest players in the Food Manufacturing sector worldwide, employing thousands of people across multiple continents. In the UK they operate several ingredients manufacturing sites which are receiving continuous investment as part of long-term growth plans.
In this position you will play a key role in the safe and efficient running of a high-volume food manufacturing plant, ensuring production, quality and hygiene standards are consistently met. You’ll work across multiple areas of the site, monitoring processes, completing quality checks, maintaining operational records and helping to minimise downtime while supporting continuous plant performance.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in production operations - preferably in a Food Manufacturing or similar FMCG environment. However, as specialist training will be provided, the company is also open to upskilling people from other industrial backgrounds as long as they have a can-do attitude and a positive work ethic.
This is a great opportunity for someone that wants the sense of job security that comes with joining a leading global business along with the progression and development prospects that come from joining a tight-knit team backed by a Production Manager who cares about their staff.
What you’ll be doing:
*Operating production, intake and dispatch processes across a busy manufacturing site.
*Carrying out quality, food safety and hygiene checks to maintain site standards.
*Managing weighbridge activities, vehicle movements and associated paperwork.
*Supporting basic maintenance activities and helping to maximise plant performance.
*Working safely and following all health, safety and food manufacturing procedures.
Requirements
*Previous experience in a manufacturing/production or processing environment – ideally in Food Manufacturing or a similar FMCG industry
*Comfortable working a rotating Panama shift pattern, including days and nights.
*Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete quality & safety checks
*Hands-on, practical approach with a willingness to learn new skills.
*Positive team player with a strong commitment to safety, hygiene and quality standards.
