Full job descriptionTrinity House Group are partnering with a high growth business in Stafford to appoint a Financial Controller. This is a confidential search for an ambitious finance professional who wants real ownership and a seat close to the decision making.
The business has strong investor backing and a clear growth agenda. You’ll lead the financial control environment and make sure the numbers are accurate, timely and trusted by both the leadership team and investors.
The role
*Own the month end and year end close, delivering high quality management accounts and investor reporting to tight deadlines.
*Lead, develop and get the best from a capable finance team.
*Strengthen controls, processes and systems as the business scales.
*Manage the statutory audit and work closely with external advisers on tax and compliance.
*Support the board on cash management, covenant reporting and wider strategic projects.
About you
*Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
*Strong financial control background, ideally gained in a PE backed, high growth or fast paced environment.
*Comfortable working at pace, with the credibility to engage senior stakeholders and investors.
*Hands on and pragmatic, with a genuine appetite to improve how things are done.
*A leader who builds trust and brings people with them.
