This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading German design-and-build contractor specialising in complex construction projects across the UK and Europe. As a German speaking Project Development Manager, you will play a key role in identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities, managing projects from initial client engagement through to contract award.


This role can sit in either the company’s UK head office in Slough, Amsterdam office or Germany head office near Coblenz.

As the German speaking Project Development Manager, you will:
*Lead incoming tender and bid submissions from enquiry through to contract award
*Prepare commercial proposals, cost estimates and project presentations
*Build strong relationships with clients, partners and internal stakeholders
*Support contract negotiations and help secure successful project outcomes
*Coordinate cross-functional teams throughout the bid and pre-contract stages

Who we’re looking for:
*Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
*Previous experience in business development, bid management, estimating or project development within the construction sector
*Strong background in turnkey construction projects, ideally within industrial, infrastructure or multi-storey car park construction
*Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline
*Excellent negotiation, presentation and stakeholder management skills
*Knowledge of contract frameworks such as FIDIC, NEC and/or JCT
*Advanced Excel and MS Office skills; Microsoft Project or AutoCAD knowledge would be advantageous
*A proactive and commercially focused approach with strong attention to detail
