Your new role
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive and working closely with the Board and senior leadership team, you will provide strategic financial leadership during a period of significant organisational change.
As Interim Finance Director, you will lead financial planning, reporting, forecasting, cash flow management and financial control across the organisation. You will provide commercial insight and constructive challenge to support executive decision-making, while ensuring the organisation maintains robust governance, compliance and risk-management arrangements.
You will oversee the development of medium and long-term financial plans, including sustainability, reserves and investment strategies. The role will also provide financial oversight of major capital and property-related projects, including financial modelling, funding structures and investment decisions.
Alongside the strategic remit, you will lead and develop the finance function, improve systems and processes, strengthen management information and embed a more commercially focused, data-led approach to decision-making.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified accountant, ACA, ACCA or CIMA, with substantial experience operating as a Finance Director, Chief Financial Officer or equivalent senior finance leader within a complex organisation.
You will have a strong track record in strategic financial planning, organisational transformation, governance and financial control. Previous experience of working with Boards, Trustees or senior external stakeholders will be important, together with the credibility to advise and challenge at executive level.
