A broad Financial Accountant role within a leading energy business, responsible for statutory reporting, IFRS accounting, audits, consolidations and supporting key finance projects. The position offers strong exposure to senior stakeholders, process improvement initiatives and excellent long-term career development within a growing international organisation.

Description
*Prepare statutory accounts and deliver accurate financial reporting in line withIFRS and group requirements.
*Manage month-end processes, consolidations and balance sheet reconciliations across multiple entities.
*Support external audits, ensuring strong financial controls and compliance are maintained.
*Partner with operational and commercial teams to provide accounting guidance and technical support.
*Drive process improvements, systems enhancements and support strategic projects, including business growth initiatives.


Profile


*Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience.
*Proven background in statutory accounts preparation, IFRS reporting and audit management.
*Experience working within complex, multi-entity or international organisations.
*Strong systems skills, ideally including SAP and group reporting/consolidation tools.
*Commercially minded professional with excellent stakeholder management skills and a proactive approach to process improvement and continuous development.




Job Offer
*Permanent Financial Accountant position based in London.
*Salary of £65,000 to £75,000, dependent on the level of experience.
