Full job descriptionRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Data & AI Product Owner to define and deliver data and AI product strategies, identify business opportunities and drive value from enterprise data platforms.
The role will involve working closely with business stakeholders, Data Engineers, AI Engineers and Architects to deliver scalable solutions using Generative AI, Agentic AI, analytics, automation and modern data platforms, including Databricks.
Key Responsibilities*Define and own product vision, strategy, roadmap and value realisation for Data & AI products.
*Partner with business stakeholders to identify and prioritise AI, GenAI, analytics and automation opportunities.
*Translate business challenges into scalable AI-driven solutions.
*Lead product discovery, business case development, value estimation and prioritisation.
*Drive AI use cases involving Microsoft Copilot, AI Agents, RAG, Knowledge Assistants, Intelligent Automation, Predictive Analytics and GenAI.
*Collaborate with Data Engineers, AI Engineers, Architects and business teams to deliver products aligned with business objectives.
*Own product backlogs, user stories, acceptance criteria and product releases.
*Define and track KPIs, adoption metrics and business value outcomes.
*Develop product strategies, investment proposals and executive-level presentations.
*Support stakeholder engagement, product adoption and continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Experience*Strong experience in Data Product Ownership, AI Product Management, Product Management or Management Consulting.
*Deep understanding of Generative AI, Agentic AI, Machine Learning and Data Analytics.
*Knowledge of enterprise data platforms, including Databricks and modern cloud data environments.
*Understanding of Data Lakehouse, Data Warehouse and analytics architectures.
*Experience identifying, prioritising and delivering AI and data-driven business use cases.
*Experience developing product roadmaps, business cases, investment proposals and value assessments.
*Knowledge of AI ecosystems such as Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI Foundry, GitHub Copilot, Claude, Databricks Mosaic AI, MLflow, AI Agents and Knowledge Assistants.
*Experience managing product backlogs, user stories, acceptance criteria and releases.
*Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, consulting and communication skills.
*Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
Desirable Experience*10+ years of experience in Product Management, Consulting, Data Analytics or Digital Transformation.
*Experience delivering Data & AI products within the industrial or energy sector.
*Experience with Databricks Mosaic AI, MLflow and enterprise AI platforms.
*Experience delivering Agentic AI, RAG, Knowledge Assistants and intelligent automation solutions.
*Experience demonstrating measurable business value and driving product adoption.
