This role would suit someone who is a Qualified Management Accountant or a latter stage studier.

Our client is a Manufacturing organisation in Derby and looking for a Management Accountant to join their team.
As part of this role you will manage core accounting and finance activities as well as help the business in making informed finance decisions.
This opportunity would suit a Management Accountant (Qualified or latter stage studier CIMA or ACCA) who enjoys partnering with operation teams and influencing business performance within a Manufacturing environment.
This is an office based position in Derby.
Description
*Prepare accurate management accounts to give colleagues a clear view of financial performance.
*Review financial results and explain key movements to support informed decisions.
*Produce regular financial reports that are timely, clear and fit for purpose.
*Work with accounting and finance colleagues to maintain reliable financial information.
*Support budgeting activity by preparing financial data and reporting on performance.
*Contribute to forecasting by reviewing available financial information and highlighting changes.
*Analyse costs and performance trends to help identify practical actions.
*Maintain accurate records and reporting processes across the Accounting & Finance department.
*Adhoc duties may be required as part of the role.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
*Ability to prepare management accounts and clear financial reports.
*Experience working within Manufacturing (advantageous)
*Confidence in working closely with stakeholders outside of finance.
*Ability to interpret financial data to support with decision making.
*Strong financial analysis skills, including the ability to explain movements in performance.
*Experience of budgeting and forecasting activity.
*Confidence working with financial data and maintaining accurate records.
*Ability to analyse costs and identify relevant financial trends.
*Good knowledge of accounting and finance processes.
*Able to commute to their offices in Derby.

*Salary of up to £55,000, dependent on the level of experience and qualification.
