Halliday Marx have exclusively partnered with a global FMCG business to hire a Junior Finance Analyst on an interim basis for 3 months.


Responsibilities
*Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
*Analyse financial performance against budgets and forecasts, investigating variances and identifying key trends.
*Prepare management reports and provide meaningful financial insights to support decision-making.
*Work closely with budget holders and operational stakeholders to understand business performance.
*Assist with month-end reporting and the production of financial analysis.
*Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts and reporting tools.
*Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy, processes and financial visibility.
*Support the wider FP&A team with ad hoc analysis and commercial projects.


Requirements
*Immediately available and able to commit to the full 3-month assignment.
*Minimum of 2 years experience in a commercial / fp&a focused role
*Strong Excel skills and experience working with financial data, budgets and forecasts.
*Outstanding interpersonal skills.
