Reed Accountancy are delighted to be supporting a well-established and growing business in St Helens in their search for a Management Accountant.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful SME where you will work closely with senior management and play a key role in providing accurate financial information to support business decisions. The role would suit an AAT qualified or part-qualified (CIMA/ACCA) accountant who enjoys working within a collaborative, office-based environment and is looking for a varied position with genuine long-term prospects.

*£40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
*Prepare monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments and variance analysis.
*Produce budgets, forecasts and cash flow reports to support business planning.
*Support the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors.
*Review financial performance and provide commercial insight to management.
*Work closely with operational teams and senior stakeholders on financial and business-related matters.
Requirements
*AAT qualified or studying towards a professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA).
*Previous experience within a Management Accountant, Assistant Management Accountant or similar finance role.
*Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data and reporting.
*Commercially minded with the ability to communicate effectively across the business.
*Comfortable working within an office-based environment and building relationships with internal stakeholders.
