Based from either Chorley or Oswestry, you will work closely with commercial and finance teams, ensuring effective cost management, forecasting, reporting and contractual compliance across multiple work streams. This position is 1-2 days working in the office then the rest from home.
You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
*Supporting commercial governance and ensuring compliance with company processes and procedures.
*Monitoring project costs, forecasts and financial performance.
*Preparing accurate financial reports and commercial statements.
*Administering contract requirements, including variations and change management processes.
*Maintaining robust records to support commercial claims and contractual submissions.
*Assisting with subcontractor procurement, management and final account settlements.
*Reviewing and processing subcontractor payment applications.
*Preparing and submitting client applications for payment and invoices.
*Identifying commercial risks and opportunities and providing proactive solutions.
*Supporting operational teams to achieve project and programme objectives.
*Assisting with tender submissions, PQQs and business development activities where required.
What you’ll need to succeed
*Previous experience in a Quantity Surveyor position.
*Strong understanding of NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts, including target cost, fixed price and cost reimbursable arrangements.
*Experience within utilities, infrastructure, civil engineering or energy environments.
*Strong analytical and commercial reporting skills (CVRs).
*Excellent forecasting, budgeting and cost control experience.
*Ability to manage multiple projects within a high-volume workload environment.
*Degree qualification and/or RICS progression would be advantageous but is not essential.
What you’ll get in return
*Opportunity to join a long-term secured framework with significant future growth.
*Exposure to major energy and infrastructure projects.
*Supportive and collaborative working environment.
