The Role
As the HR Business Partner for Employee Relations & TUPE, you will be the organisation’s subject matter expert for complex ER matters, organisational change programmes, and TUPE transfers. *Provide expert advice and guidance to senior leaders on complex people issues.
*Lead or support restructuring, redundancy, and organisational change programmes.
*Identify trends and emerging people risks, implementing proactive solutions to minimise escalation and business risk.
*Ensure robust governance, documentation, and case management processes are maintained.
TUPE, Mobilisation & Business Change
*Lead and oversee inbound and outbound TUPE transfers from initial planning through to delivery.
*Manage consultation processes, due diligence activities, employee liability information, and transfer documentation.
*Support tender activity, acquisitions, contract mobilisations, and demobilisations by providing expert workforce and employment law advice.
*Partner with operational leaders and stakeholders to mitigate people-related risks and ensure successful workforce transitions.
Strategic Business Partnering
*Collaborate with HR Business Partners and senior operational leaders to deliver people solutions that support business objectives.
*Build effective relationships with key stakeholders, external advisers, and employee representatives.
*Provide commercially focused, pragmatic advice while maintaining compliance with employment legislation and HR best practice.
*Influence decision-making and support leaders through challenging and sensitive workplace situations.
Leadership & Team Development
*Lead, coach and develop the ER Advisory and TUPE teams.
*Drive a culture of accountability, development, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
*Build capability across HR and management teams through coaching, training, guidance, and knowledge sharing.
*Monitor resources, workload allocation, and service delivery standards.
Governance & Compliance
*Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures across the organisation.
*Lead improvements to ER and TUPE frameworks, processes, policies, and documentation.
*Produce management information and trend analysis to support strategic workforce planning and decision-making.
*Maintain strong compliance, audit, and governance standards across all employee relations and TUPE activities.
