SRM Recruitment is working exclusively with a well-established, family-owned business to recruit a Purchase Ledger Manager.
You’ll join a friendly finance team of around 20 at an exciting time. The business is modernising its processes, and this is a real opportunity to put your stamp on the purchase ledger function while keeping a busy, high-performing team on track.
The Role
*Lead, develop and support a team of three Ledger Clerks
*Stay hands-on, combining team leadership with invoice processing in a high-volume environment
*Take ownership of VAT
*Liaise with local authorities on council tax and business rates across the group’s sites
*Play a key part in improving processes as the function modernises
*Build strong relationships across the business, with regular exposure to the directors
About You
*Proven experience as a Purchase Ledger Manager or Supervisor, including managing a team
*Comfortable being hands-on in a high-volume environment
*Strong working knowledge of VAT
*A collaborative, confident communicator who is at ease with senior stakeholders

*£45,000–£55,000 salary
*24 days holiday plus bank holidays

*Hybrid working: 4 days in the office, 1 from home
