Hours: Full time. 5.15 am - 1.15 pm, Monday to Friday
Salary: £14.14 per hour

Are you a hands-on individual who enjoys maintenance work and takes pride in keeping buildings safe, secure and well-presented? We are recruiting a dedicated School Caretaker on behalf of our client.

The Role
As School Caretaker, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, security and presentation of the school premises. You will play an important role in ensuring the site is safe, compliant and operating efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
*Opening and closing the school site
*Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs
*Ensuring the school grounds are clean, tidy and well-maintained
*Conducting health and safety checks such as legionella, fire alarm testing etc
*Monitoring contractors whilst on site
*Setting up rooms for meetings, events and school activities
*Reporting maintenance issues and larger repairs
About You
The successful candidate will:
*Have previous caretaking, facilities, maintenance or site management experience
*Be practical and confident carrying out basic repairs and maintenance tasks
*Have a good understanding of health and safety responsibilities
*Be organised, reliable and able to work independently
*Possess good communication skills and a positive approach
*Be flexible to support the needs of the school
Additional Information
*Weekly pay (PAYE)
*This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references. Manpower covers the cost of the DBS.
*The role offers an immediate start date subject to the above.
