An established, growing organisation delivering complex projects across the UK is looking to appoint an experienced Buyer. You’ll join a collaborative procurement function with a strong pipeline of work and excellent opportunities for career development.

Your new role
As Buyer, you’ll manage the procurement of materials, services and equipment, working closely with operational teams and suppliers to deliver best value. Key responsibilities include:
*Managing supplier selection, quotations and negotiations
*Sourcing materials, services and equipment
*Developing strong supplier and stakeholder relationships
*Supporting commercial and procurement activity across projects
*Monitoring market trends and identifying savings opportunities
*Ensuring purchasing activity meets cost, quality and delivery requirements
*Maintaining accurate procurement records, reports and KPIs
What you’ll need to succeed
*Previous experience as a Buyer, Procurement Specialist or Purchasing professional
*Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
*Good commercial and financial awareness
*Experience working in a fast-paced, project-led environment
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
*Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
*CIPS qualification or progress towards CIPS would be advantageous
