Are you a qualified Primary Teacher looking for flexible work across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan?
Academics is currently recruiting reliable and enthusiastic Primary Supply Teachers to work across a wide range of local primary schools. We have strong relationships with schools throughout the area, with opportunities available in Grangetown, Penarth, Dinas Powys, Barry, Cardiff City Centre, Cardiff Bay, Ely, Llanedeyrn and beyond.
Whether you’re looking for occasional day-to-day supply or a consistent long-term placement, we can help find opportunities that suit your availability and preferences.
The Role*Delivering engaging lessons across all primary year groups, from Nursery to Year 6.

*Providing day-to-day classroom cover and ensuring continuity of learning.

*Following existing lesson plans and adapting activities where necessary.

*Managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive learning environment.

*Building relationships with pupils and staff across different school settings.

*Taking on flexible daily cover or longer-term placements within the same school.

We’re Looking For*Qualified Primary Teachers with QTS.

*Both newly qualified and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.

*Strong classroom management and communication skills.

*A reliable, adaptable and flexible approach.

*A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.

*Access to a vehicle is desirable to make travelling between schools across Cardiff and the Vale easier.

Requirements*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
