We are recruiting a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a specialist education setting in Bury. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Maths, English and Science lessons to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), adapting teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs and abilities.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is committed to making a positive difference to the lives of young people who require additional support with their education and development.
The Role:*Plan and deliver engaging Maths, English and Science lessons to pupils with SEN.

*Adapt lesson plans and teaching resources to suit a range of learning abilities and needs.

*Create a positive, supportive and inclusive classroom environment.

*Support pupils with their academic progress, confidence and personal development.

*Manage classroom behaviour effectively, using positive behaviour management strategies.

*Work closely with teaching assistants, support staff and the wider school team.

*Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback on individual achievements.

The Ideal Candidate:*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

*Previous experience teaching pupils with SEN, ideally within a specialist school or alternative provision setting.

*Confident delivering Maths, English and Science across a range of abilities.

*Experience supporting pupils with additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH or complex learning difficulties.

*Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

*A patient, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching.

*A genuine passion for supporting pupils who may face barriers to learning.
