An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Private Client Solicitor to join a highly regarded and welcoming team in Cambridge. THE ROLE
You will manage your own caseload of private client matters, advising a diverse range of clients on their personal and financial planning needs. Working closely with experienced colleagues, your responsibilities will include:
• Drafting Wills and advising on lifetime planning.
• Preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs).
• Estate administration and probate matters.
• Trusts and related private client work.
• Building trusted, long-term relationships with clients and providing clear, tailored advice.

The team works with a broad client base, including elderly and vulnerable individuals, business owners, landlords and agricultural clients, offering plenty of scope to develop your experience across different areas of private client law.

You will also have the opportunity to expand your knowledge of more complex matters as your experience grows, with the support and guidance needed to progress your career.

THE CANDIDATE
The successful Private Client Solicitor will have at least 2 years’ PQE and a solid grounding in a range of private client matters.
You will ideally demonstrate:
• Experience handling a varied private client caseload.
• Strong technical knowledge and excellent attention to detail.
• A client-focused approach, with the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively.
• A genuine interest in developing your expertise and taking on more complex work.
• A collaborative attitude and enthusiasm for contributing to a busy and successful team.
• A STEP qualification, or a willingness to work towards one, would be advantageous but is not essential.
